In an old takeaway/sit down restaurant(which was pretty good but always closed) a new bottle and can bar is opening. I’m not sure of the exact date yet, but the place is already furnished, so it could be surprisingly soon.

It’s a welcome addition because it’s somewhere to stop off for refreshment on the arduous 500-metre stroll between the Hussar and the excellent Heaton Tap.
