The Double L – probably the only small to medium-sized venue left in Belfast – has been given the go-ahead to turn the Old Arnotts fruit wholesalers warehouse in the Cathedral quarter into a two-story 1600 capacity venue.
I have many fond memories of the Double L, like drinking 10 bottles of Poker Alice and doing a barf trombone all over the dance floor.
