There is an ongoing struggle for an identity of this Sunderland city-centre pub. I’m not sure if this is the most renamed/relaunched pub in Tyne and Wear but it must be up in the top five.

The bar, now Flannaghans, has been given an Irish theme and a bright red paint job to reflect it’s Templebar influences.

Beer bore, of course, wish them all the best, and maybe the new owners will make a success of it where others have failed.
