I’m astonished that Hard Rock Cafes are still a thing. I thought they had gone the way of most other themed chains and been turned into Frankie and Benny’s.

Most people seem quite excited by the prospect of one opening in Newcastle’s Historic Guild Hall. I can’t see the appeal, I have always got the impression that  it would be like the bastard child of a slightly more upmarket Percy and Sergeant Peppers

I will of course pop along, because I’ve always wanted to see the inside of the guild Hall  and I’ll let you know what i think.
