The Central is an incredible bar and a far cry from its mid-2000s incarnation.

The first time I was in it after its much-needed restoration I was impressed not just with the interior, but the quality of the Beer and the likeability of the landlord as he spoke at great length about beer and the new bar to fascinated returning regulars.

Sadly the landlord has decided to move on after nearly a decade, and Cameron’s are on the lookout for a replacement. They are big boots to fill.
