It is looking increasingly likely that Sunderlands’ Isis is going to close, as attempts to find a lease holder have failed.

Sunderland University , who own the property , want to keep it as a pub and have no plans to apply for a change of use.

This isn’t like the university, because they would sell students organs if they could get away with it.  If I was the university , I would take over the pub, and allow the microbiology brewing students run and brew on site.

Oh hold on they don’t do that course anymore.

Or they could turn it into a Student Union ,

Oh hold on the Student Union doesn’t have any bars.

I look forward to it mysteriously catching fire and being turned into a boutique hotel.
