Blackstorm is upping sticks and moving to the deserted Royal Quays. For those not familiar with Royal Quays, it is a shopping hellhole predominantly made up of outlet stores with the cesspit Wet and Wild nearby and is a quick jaunt from the tyne tunnel and the Ferry terminal.

The Quays are not the draw they once were, although they are ensconced in a pleasant redevelopment area, with offices, a marina and a sculpture trail of sorts. Of course, this is bordered on all sides by some right shit holes.

I imagine that the local council, in an attempt to reinvigorate the area, have given favourable rates to the owners to try and draw in more ‘cool’ companies.
