Livello is where people from the Akenside Traders go if they want to drink somewhere upmarket.

They have already cornered the market on squawking women and blokes called Bazza looking for trouble. I for one like drinking passable pints of expensive Fosters with an edgy atmosphere.

I often ask myself, what could make Livello any less appealing? If only they could, I dunno, expose me to the elements.

Well my prayers have been answered, they have decided to open a rooftop bar called Crescendo.

It promises to have all the things we love about Livello but it’s on a roof.

And by definition of a roof, it’s outside with stunning views of better pubs.
