What seems like months ago, I reported that a planning application for a Micropub on the site of the former American diner/Vegan cafe had been submitted.

Well, it looks like it has been granted, despite the one complaint of potential noise issues from the apartments above the premises.

The application finally sheds a bit of light on who will be operating it. The owners of Heatons Hidden gem -The Typsy Toad- and Corbridge Pele.

That’s a fine lineage for any boozer and I can’t wait to have a few pints in it.
