A hospitality company is set to open a food and drink experience in the square, offering all manner of culinary delights—well, whatever can be prepared in a microwave and George Foreman grill to adhere to their licensing conditions.
The area is best described as a bleak, piss-soaked reinforced concrete square with a strong East Berlin vibe, could certainly use a bit of TLC, but my concern is the impact it might have on Trillians.
In the evenings, the square is packed with smokers, drinkers, and people just catching up. How long will it be before there is a clash between this new setup and the old one?
