Forth Streets, popular real ale and rock bar, The Delta Lounge, recently announced via Instagram, its immediate closure. The reason given was their ongoing dispute with the landlord, ‘The Arch Company’

The closure of Delta Lounge ends 8 years of the site being a micropub. The arch was previously occupied by the Split Chimp and Box Social pubs. 

Alpha Delta expressed their intention to reopen once they secure premises.
Personally, I hoped they would choose the former home of Newcastle Brewing Company in Ousburn, but they were beaten to it by Bootleggers.
