The Hustler bar on Newgate Street has opened on the site of the old Eden bar next to The Gate.

As always, these things promise a relaxed New York style loft apartment bar that is both exclusive and welcoming. I don’t know what that means. I expect it to have the usual trappings of screaming hen do’s and awful stag dos.

Judging by the gushing press release the Chronicle gave it, I won’t be rushing along any time soon.
