Whitley Bays Nord bottle shop opened just over 2 years ago, back when the Dog and Rabbit was a it’s only ‘competitor’.

However, the area now has 4 micro pubs, and if you’re willing to travel a little further another 2 in Monkseaton and Tynemouth, coupled with the problems on the British high street, difficult decisions are made to ensure businesses remain viable.

Nord are no different.

Nord are looking at more effective ways of using their premises and have decided to close the seating area at the rear of the shop.

It would be a shame to lose such a unique venture, Beer Bore extend them our full support and wish them all the best in their continued evolution.
