The long-running- and let’s be honest not a very interesting saga-of Whitburns Gray Horse has finally drawn to a close with the recent opening of a Co-Op on the sight of the former pub. 

It’s a pretty cool old building and now houses a pretty cool looking Co-Op, but I can’t help but think that it would still have been better as a pub.

More importantly, I got through this without making a single horse pun.
