A new pub in Newcastle is due to open February. It aims not only to sell beer and quality local produce but to actively support charitable causes.

It’s opening on Pudding Chare, in the Old Mimo/ Nice bar just along from the soon to be redeveloped Fleet Street.

It’s an odd position for the type of bar I imagine it to be, nestled in between the Bigg Market and the Diamond Strip.

I haven’t been in any incarnation of the bar since they stopped selling Arc Lager.
