The Tipsy Cow – on Sunderland’s Bridge Street – was a comfy cosy pub that had been refurbished thoughtfully. A few weeks ago we learned of its closure and it was put up for sale.
John Armstrong – from a comment on Beer Bore – brings us some good news! The Tipsy Cow is reopening this Friday (23/08/2019), under its old name (and what locals still called it) The Central.
They have a new Facebook page, it looks like they will have a decent ale line up, including the faultless GNEB beers.
