We mentioned earlier in the week that a new pub was taking over the former Ember Lounge in the Clothe Market and now work is well underway.

I won’t regurgitate the whole article, but my concerns that it might just be another sticky Bigg Market bar have been allayed with confirmation of those involved and the mention of ‘Wylam’.

With this addition and The Thali Tap, DEAD etc, the Bigg Market, might actually be worth a visit again.
