The converted train station at the bottom of Osborne road, you have to get to it by going under the Jesmond metro station underpass. Apparently it is a haunt for the more alternative student and ageing rockers. It used to be an old Vaux house but now seems to sell a variety of popular ales (including bass) not a bad pub; good for a change from the horror that is Osborne road. Has a popular pub quiz on a Monday and Tuesday night, which I might add we were unable to win and we had three doctors, two teachers and a solicitor and a washed-up alcoholic in my team.
