| Down the hill form the Cumberland, popular with the student, thespian crowd, because of its gig venue and art gallery, offers a wide range of guest ales and bottled beers (of note Thomas hardy ale 11.5% matured for over 25 years). It is unusual because it offers two real ciders, fruit beer on draft and a vast swathe of cask and bottled beers. It should be an excellent bar, but there is something about it I just can’t place |
