Location
Top of Heaton road, it’s a Tom Barras pub, next to the people’s theatre, no guest ales to speak of, has a pool table and the food is good, cheap and cheerful. Has a large function room outback, which plays host to a number of different events the famous Corner house jazz night is still held there, as is the laughing gas comedy club. Not bad for a night out.
