I detest this pub – owned by the same people who own world headquarters and they have jumped on every bandwagon since it open way be back in the 90’s. It is the type of bar that aspires to be the Tyne. Has a large student clientele thanks to its closeness to the two universities’ (which weird because the beer is expensive) has pool table upstairs which used to be surrounded by thespian types (well cheap thespians they where comics from the near by Hyena) beers terrible and it’sfull of pretentious idiots wearing scarves .
